Lauren's Baby Shower #1

The next morning we had Lauren's first baby shower, from her church. It was nice to be able to be in town for that! Below, l to r is Mom, Krista, Lauren, Nani Olson, Marcia Cavett, and me.

Texas

Addie and I went to Texas Feb. 27 - March 10 and had a great time!

The five of us girls (Nani, Mom, and us 3 sisters) got our nails done. This was Nani's first pedicure and she loved it!

All of us went to dinner to celebrate spring birthdays...

 ...and then to the Oliphant's house (my older sister's family) for cake, ice cream and presents.

Adelaide loves to sit at the little table with her cousins.

She fell asleep in the swing at 10:30 am - the birthday celebrations the night before must have worn her out!

23/24 Weeks

in February...

Adelaide discovered my drawer of bulky jewelry and had a great time putting every piece on and parading around the house.

It was SO COLD here, in the 20's when we woke up and David left for work. The spray from the pond fountain had frozen over.

This stool has become her favorite place to eat her snack (and we're slowly getting beyond goldfish!)

This picture, even though I didn't really like what was going on, was to remind me years later of her current fascination/obsession with water. She's realized that if she stands on her potty seat that she can then reach the hot water faucet. Our water bill might be higher this month, but this stage (hopefully) won't last for too long. This was the first time she had taken all the bath toys within her reach and put them in the sink for a little wash-down.

She's really into trying to put 'pants' on - doesn't matter if it's her pj top, my underwear, Daddy's sweatpants, etc.
