Addie's 12th cousin

Carter Dallas Cavett, born March 28. I have to brag on my little sister - no pain meds and had a great first labor of about 6 hours of intense labor and 12 hours total. She did wonderful and is a great new mommy! Addie and I drove to Texas March 29 to meet him and wait for my older sister to have her baby!
Addie enjoyed rocking him while we waited to leave the hospital.

Skinned Knees

This might sound weird, but I was actually glad that she FINALLY scraped both of her knees up, enough to merit bandaids. Addie doesn't usually do much that would cause her to get hurt. It was the first time we got to use the Hello Kitty bandaids from Mimi/Aunt Pam! However, it was short lived as she wanted the bandaids "ot!" - off!!!!

March Pics

Wearing her elephant slippers and carefully keeping them on her feet - thanks Krista!
Coloring at her new table with Ti-Ti, her beloved tiger that we lost on a walk last fall. My Aunt Libby found another on Ebay and sent it to us! Thank you!!!
She picked this outfit out herself!
Wrestling and cuddling with Daddy. He was off for Spring Break and we enjoyed more family time together!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

We began the day with green eggs and pancakes!
Addie usually goes for the eggs but she enjoyed using the pancakes to eat her syrup!!!
I asked her if I could take a picture of her, and she ran over to this spot to 'pose'.

Feeding Ducks

We started David's spring break out with a great breakfast and then went to the Art Museum to feed the ducks and enjoy the artwork once the rain started coming.
Can you see the big fish in the lake/pond? They were hungry for the bread, too!

Enjoying Cousins

After church...
At least we tried!
We went over to the Oliphant's for Jackson's birthday breakfast and the kids had a great time playing together. When we first got to Texas, Addie was a little overwhelmed by her cousins who love her so much and want to hold and hug her, but by the end of our stay she was enjoying their affection more.

Lauren's Baby Shower

The main reason we went to Texas was to help throw Lauren her baby shower. It was a lot of fun and great to see some people in town I usually don't get to see. She received some really great gifts!
Nani Olson, Aunt Danna, cousin Danielle, and Nana Ireland.
Mom and some of her good friends.
