This is the cottage we stayed in at Bansha House.

Woke up, packed, ate breakfast and then Mary rang us up. Turns out it was 50 euros per PERSON per night. It's cheaper for us at the very nice Ariel House in Dublin than out in the middle of the country! I told Mary how disappointed we were and that 'per person' was never mentioned on the phone last week or when we talked with her specifically about the price Friday night when we arrived! We were so frustrated by that - TWICE AS MUCH! But there was nothing that could be done. We might try to contact the farmhouse board or whatever. Oh well, on with life. Drove to Kilkenny, or actually just south of there to Kells, a little town with a huge old medieval town in ruins.

You can just walk around through all the old ruins and imagine what the buildings were, as the sheep graze in the pasture beside. So neat!

I wasn't feeling too well and we were both tired, so we decided to just drive through Kilkenny and not stop, although it looked like a great little town to visit. The castle (below) would have been particularly interesting to me, as they had renovated some of the rooms to look like period-style, and I love seeing how people used to live. 

On to Dublin, which we got to the airport 2 hours earlier than our car was due back to be. Raining, of course. God the aircoach back to our hotel and checked in. Below is Ariel House...

Addie and I rested while David went to the store. But our rest wasn't very successful, so we decided to go into town. Below is a picture of the Georgian houses lining Marion Square. 

I found a great souvenier shop for t-shirts and then we had a good Irish dinner at a nearby pub for our last night in Ireland. Below is the busy pedestrian Grafton Street.

 Then we walked through St. Stephen's Green, a very nice park in the town.

Finally got a picture of their nice "litter" bins!

We finally made our way to Adelaide Road! Had fun getting pictures there for and of Adelaide.

We were going to walk back to our hotel but with Addie so tired and me not feeling well, we just took a taxi. Got Addie down and got on the internet. A late night but we were glad to be back in this nice hotel with the nice staff, our 'home' in Dublin.
