New things in a New Year

Addie's talking alot more now, with 2-3 word sentences that we can usually understand. I feel bad for the many times when we can't, but that will only decrease. She's also very interested in letters and knows quite a few. Colors don't seem too interesting, which is odd because she's very interested in coloring. She's more interested in Mommy and Daddy's collection of pens on the desk. She can hold her writing utensil very well for this age, it seems to us. Ballet is still huge; she wears her tu-tu pretty much every day. A growing sense of independence is also here; we have been starting each day out with a spanking, it seems. The book "Shepherding A Child's Heart" is very good for me to be reading right now. Reading is still a favorite, and so is singing. She likes to go to church to 'pay nice' with her friends, 'co-wo Zesus' on her activity sheets and eat 'kakows'. New this week is putting on socks and shoes (takes about 30 minutes) and her new way to say yes is, "Ah, yes!" Cracks me up! She's also saying 'I sawy' alot, which I'm not sure why because we only have her say sorry if she's getting a spanking. She just came out of her room with her tu-tu on, and one shoe on the wrong foot. Gotta go to playgroup!
This is just to remind me of this stage where ALL she wants to eat are goldfish. She wakes up asking for them!
Playing the piano with Mimi (my Aunt Pam). I love how she had to REACH so far to touch the keys.
Bubbles!

Haha! E is also currently obsessed with Goldfish. She'd survive on only Goldfish if I let her! :)
