We slept in and then went to lunch at Ian and Elaine Cooper’s house. They both used to work for Christian Heritage until the funds were too low so they had to get other jobs. They are wonderful people! We really enjoyed our time with them. Ian picked us up in his car and dropped us home – no carseat for Addie but she seemed excited to be in a car again. They were so encouraging about parenting and had a good conversations with them, as well as wonderful home-made lasagne, salad, bread, and a great dessert. We had a little nap back at home before going to church at night at Cambridge Pres. Joey Pipa, who helped start my church back in Beaumont, TX, was there to preach that night.
