Packed up, Dad went to get car. (David had to stay to work.) Left Cambridge w/ M&D&A (30 min. to get out of town – lost! Bought atlas) around 2.

I think Addie enjoyed being in a car again, after a month!

Driving through England was harried - especially with all the round-abouts! Got to the Cotswalds by 5. First stop, Great Tew to get dinner at Falkland Arms, but didn’t open ‘til 6.

Picture of the first thatched roof I've ever seen!

Mom, Addie and Dad walking to...

...the Falkland Arms, closed. Guess we'll just have to go back another time!

Picture of cute cottages in Great Tew.

Chipping Norton, drove @ town. Neat Bliss Tweed Mill outside of town! Moreton-in-Marsh, drove straight thru. Up to Blockley, cute little village on hillside. Very pretty and quiet.

Picture of the neat old walls.

Picture of countryside coming down from Blockley.

Then on to Chipping Campden; drinks at Noel Arms Hotel, a pub on High Street. Afterwards, we checked in to Lygon Arms, very nice rooms w/ robes, jacuzzi tubs and showers, etc. All to dinner at pub downstairs (fried brie!), watched Russia vs. Spain. Spain won.

Adelaide (and Gramma) waving and blowing kisses.

Loved the pics and update on Scotland...thanks! The buildings are beautiful, yet a completely different style from Cambridge. It's so interesting to see everything. Did Addie just love the ducks at that restaurant? And the sheep...what did she think of them?
